I Have Not Abandoned You As Orphans

Jesus relied on the Holy Spirit in his life, ministry and resurrection. And the same power that raised Him from the dead lives in us. And He has promised us that we will, by the Holy Spirit, do even mightier things on earth than He did.
THE UNDERRATED ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: Before writing this article, I was moved to write about the love of God. So I decided to pray before writing it. And as I prayed in tongues, the words “I have not abandoned you as orphans” suddenly came to my mind (John 14:18). Then I suddenly realized the truth that most Christians struggle with. We are not meant to just "wing it" down here. God is not just in heaven watching. He is not just waiting for things to accidentally happen. He is intentionally charting the course of the church. He is waiting on us to catch up with Him more than we are waiting on Him. He wants to talk to us more than we want to talk to Him. He also admits that He is on the Earth living among the humble and contrite.
It is interesting but sad that many Christians do not realize that they are to be in close relationship with the Holy Spirit. A relationship that is to be closer than any marriage or family ties. Dr. Kevin Zadai, a prophet and teacher, once put it this way, God took all His love and packaged it in Jesus Christ. Not many understand that. But how many people still think of the holy spirit as a quiet bird? Is He not God, co-equal in the Trinity? Is He not with us , drawing us closer to the father? Is He not the one coordinating the Church all over the world, sending out angels on assignment, and enforcing the covenant with God? Is He not the one giving both the young and old dreams and visions and releasing miracles all over? Most importantly, the Holy Spirit has a unique role in that He prays and intercedes for us because we have not the knowledge of God's will. But He does.
So when we pray in tongues, He communicates to the Father for us. He helps us speak mysteries and speak out our destinies that are written in our books. He is also the mark of ownership God has placed in us. For as many as live by the Spirit, they are the sons of God. Most importantly, the Holy Spirit lives inside of us, we are His temple. Wow, imagine God being in your body, just like your spirit is inside your body, and helping you in every detail of your earthly life. Only if you ask.The Holy Spirit is a person. He looks just like Jesus. He speaks on behalf of the Father. He is love. He is God. He is our Helper. He is here preparing the church. He knows the thoughts of God. We need Him in everything. He will take the church to the Father when the Father calls. He is God with us. We are not alone!!!

THE RETURN OF THE KING. This is the most awaited event in the world. We all can smell it. The end. The wars, the rumors of war. The pestilence. The growth of AI and the buying of goods through biotechnology. The New World Order. Some are excited. Some are anxious. Some do not care. Some do not realize it. The return of Jesus means the establishment of justice and righteousness on the earth. The coming down of the New Jerusalem. The establishment of the physical kingdom of God on the earth. Not only will it mark the redemption of saints, who will be happy to see and touch the King they long for, but it will also mark the destruction of the wicked, in a series of end time events that is expected to shock even those who will read about it in the millennial reign that will follow.
The book of revelations also says that fallen cherub called the devil will be bound for a thousand years. “I will come as a thief”, said Jesus of his return. The book of revelations also paints the return of the king as a bloodbath. A terrible battle of Armageddon. Some people will literally try to fight the city of God. A rider on a white horse, whose robe is stained with blood, and who releases a sword from His mouth, destroys the armies that are against God. That killer, that destroyer of the wicked, is Jesus. That warrior is the Lord. He is not weak. He is not a baby in a manger. It is clear that Jesus will return unexpectedly, but not quietly. The return of Jesus is in many ways, poetic justice. But this theme of returning is interesting, is it not?
RETURNING TO AN EARTH HE ONCE WALKED: We know Jesus has walked the earth. Not only as a human, but as God. He walked with Adam in Eden. He walked with Abraham and warned him about Sodom and Gomorrah. He stood on Mount Sinai and gave Moses the ten commandments. He stood between Pharaoh and the Israelites and drowned the enemy in the Red Sea. Most importantly, God came and lived the human experience in the person of Jesus. And He rose up to heaven from the earth, with his resurrected body, and is waiting on the church to make His enemies His footstool. The Father is also waiting on us to bring in the harvest of souls through evangelism, so His son can return for His pure and righteous bride.
However, before Jesus left, he made sure to tell them that they are not abandoned as orphans, that they should wait for another like Him, who shall speak of the Father, and who shall help them. The Holy Spirit, thus, is the spirit of adoption by whom we cry "Abba". Jesus was careful to emphasize that even though He would leave, they were not alone. For the Holy Spirit is on the earth!
RETURNING TO HEAVEN ,OUR STARTING POINT: God releases us to the earth, then has His Goodness running after us. For many, even I the writer, it is difficult to grasp psalms 139 in its full revelation. It is hard for a mind programmed in science-based abstract thinking to think of humans as beings who existed in the spiritual before existing in the natural or physical. People who support abortion argue that life begins at such and such at time. They do not know what they are doing. They are only helping the devil to try and control the number of the prophetic generation meant to welcome Jesus. The babies in the womb are devil-destroying prophets who will see Jesus come back. They are a chosen generation. Just like me and you. They are a prophetic generation. Scripture alone shows us that we existed before being put in the womb. We all come from heaven. Is it not shocking that we all come from the heaven people have a hard time believing exists?
RETURNING TO THE THRONE ROOM: Our journey started at the throne room where the Father Jehovah the Most High thinks babies and breathes them into existence. We are a breath of life and as little souls we immediately fly and sing in throne room, shouting His praises, and ask our Father to send us to the earth to become redeemed spirits. This is hard to grasp when we try to understand it from an earthly perspective where the earth appears to be a sad, lonely and evil place. The bible calls us treasures in jars of clay because we existed before being put in these bodies made of clay. The spirit redeemed by the blood of Jesus is so blessed and glorified that a baby would desire as its first wish, to ask its father to be a redeemed spirit. It is so easy to take for granted what Jesus did especially if we rely on logic. We desired to be here. And this desire was granted. We were, however, assigned roles and purposes on earth. We are pieces to a puzzle. Soldiers in a greater war. We are all agents with different missions that unite to achieve a Godly agenda in our generation. Even to a soul that is yet to enter the earth, the aspect of being a redeemed human is of extreme value. Here is an excerpt from the book “Heaven: Close Encounters of the God Kind” by Jesse Duplintes:
I saw new lives of little babies singing and flying around God's Throne. It seemed to me that babies just came out of the breath of God. They looked like they were wearing nightgowns. They flew into the presence of Jehovah. I realized they were new souls who came from the thoughts of God. God thinks kids. Now I know why those newborn babies are so precious. Babies are gifts given to us directly from the Throne of God. I heard them saying to God, "Can I be a spirit? Would You send me to the earth so I can be a spirit? I want to be a redeemed person. Can I be a spirit?" And while I watched, I heard that mighty sound of God's power, Whooosh! I saw these babies leave the Throne by the power of God (page 75-76).
RETURNING TO LOVE: Is it not sad that a human would come to the earth and start questioning whether God exists. One of the saddest things I have witnessed is seeing babies lose their innocence. They always start their lives as happy, warm and unbiased humans who will greet and love anyone. They come to the earth with an environment of love already exposed to them in heaven. Then all of a sudden they are told not to greet so, or not to visit so, or not to eat what is given by so. Thus, they start developing fear and insecurity at a young age. Sooner than later, they start choosing between good and evil, and where parents are negligent,or the voice of demons is dominant, they start finding evil to be okay. They adapt quickly to the world they found. And all this time Jesus did not abandon His creation. The Father did not forget the souls He made. The Holy Spirit did not forsake the world He created.
And even when we look for love in sinful sex, drugs, and money,or feel unloved and seek security in crime and sinful means to feels safe and prosperous, God does not stop loving us. He is calling, like the voice in the desert. And the Holy Spirit says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.” The saddest testimony I ever heard was of a woman who used drugs for forty years from country to country and eventually when old she admitted that all she was looking for was love. Do we realize that we sometimes run around all in the pursuit of love? Paul said that God created all races from one man, and put us in different regions and countries so we could look for Him and find Him. We have a duty to pursue God.
Acts 17:27 "God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us".
RETURNING TO PROSPERITY: We are meant to be the head, and not the tail (Deut 28:13). The chapter explains many blessings that include prosperity for the people of God. This is not prosperity gospel. Being poor is not a requirement for salvation. Rather, ridding our hearts of idols is.The whole covenant talks of a prosperous nation of God that other countries can borrow from. If only the Israelites obey. The benefits of the covenant apply to us through Christ. Money can be an idol, but to a spirit-filled believer, it should be a weapon or tool of dominion. In Jesse’s testimony, he explains that he abandoned millions as a former rock star and went without food and fuel for days as a pastor, thinking that a life in Christ meant poverty and suffering alone, only to have God show him that he will be poor no more. His sacrifices, in this context, were rewarded with great supernatural wealth. Just like Abraham.Like Isaac. Like Job. Like the nation of Israel today.
Yes, it is okay for Christians to prosper. After all, the wicked prosper on the believers’ stolen blessings just like the Canaanites occupied a land of milk and honey that was actually promised not to them, but to the Israelites. It is difficult for a rich man to enter heaven, but it is not impossible. The rich man who could not leave his riches for Jesus had the idol of Mormon or money in his heart. Without this idol, without believing in self-sufficiency, without showing a tendency to be swayed away from God by money, without refusing to go to church so that we can ride on yachts, God would not mind us all being millionaires. As long as it would not drive us into wickedness. In any case, a believer is to pray without ceasing. God believes in prosperity, and desired it for Israel, a community into which Jesus grafted us into.
RETURNING TO A SPIRIT-LED LIFE WITHOUT LIMITATIONS: Did Daniel not demonstrate that if we do not stop praying, the angels who are sent to deliver our answers will break through the resistance of principalities and give us the answer? We can do anything through Christ who strengthens us. And did you realize that David said the Holy Spirit taught him to hold the sword? Can he not teach us in every other activity? Like the first church in Antioch, and like in the Acts of the Apostles, we must again learn and appreciate why we must be led by the Holy Spirit. The apostles accomplished many things through the Helper, who is the Holy Spirit.
DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS:
(Psalm 95:1-11)
7Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, if you hear His voice,
8do not harden your hearts,
as you did in the rebellion,
in the day of testing in the wilderness,
9where your fathers tested and tried Me,
and for forty years saw My works.
10Therefore I was angry with that generation,
and I said,
‘Their hearts are always going astray,
and they have not known My ways.’
11So I swore on oath in My anger,
‘They shall never enter My rest.’”
Overall, a Christian will accomplish more in one year if he or she is walking with the Holy Spirit than in 50 years without Him.
